We all worry from time to time. It’s a normal reaction to everyday stress and traumatic life events. Most people have ways of coping and reducing their discomfort. However, you may be one of the millions who experience anxiety so frequently and to such a degree that it impairs your functioning. Do you have trouble doing things that others seem to do easily like going places, meeting new people, trying new things, or speaking up for yourself? Are you living life to the fullest or are you short-changing yourself because of worrying so much about what other people might think of you? Is your brain monopolized by “What if?” thoughts? Left unchecked, anxiety affects your self-esteem, your relationships, your choices – big or small, and eventually your overall quality of life.

I use proven methods with children and adults who are experiencing an anxiety disorder: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, social anxiety, performance anxiety, nightmares and sleep fears, intrusive negative thoughts, or Obsessive-Compulsive disorder. You will leave your first session with strategies to begin to combat your anxiety.
